Oura Said It Has 5 Million Paid Members and Plans to List on the Nasdaq Under the Ticker OURA
Oura, the maker of the Oura Ring, filed its S-1 paperwork on Thursday, a key step toward an initial public offering. The company reported $1.4 billion in revenue and $59 million in net income for the year ending in June. Oura said it has 5 million paid members and plans to list on the Nasdaq under the ticker OURA.
The filing showed revenue grew 74% year-over-year, comparing the first three quarters of fiscal year 2026 to the same period in 2025. The company acknowledged in the filing that it has "a history of operating losses" and has "only recently achieved profitability, adding "there can be no assurance that we will maintain profitability in any future period. For the nine-month period ended in June, Oura incurred losses of $924 million on revenue of $1.21 billion, compared to losses of $182.8 million on revenues of $697.6 million for the same period a year prior. The S-1 lists several risk factors, as required by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
"We have experienced rapid growth in recent years, the risk factors section says. "This rapid growth may not be sustainable or indicative of future performance, and we expect our growth rate to slow over time.
