I Feel Like the Sky Is the Limit for (The Vikings), Peterson Told Kyle Odegard of Roto Grinders

Adrian Peterson believes Kyler Murray should be the Minnesota Vikings' starting quarterback in 2026, citing the Heisman winner's experience and playmaking ability. "I feel like the sky is the limit for (the Vikings), Peterson told Kyle Odegard of Roto Grinders. "The defense played outstanding last year, and the year before that, too.
When I saw it going across the ticker that they were getting Kyler, I thought, 'That's a hell of a move right there. Peterson, a likely Hall of Fame inductee, noted Murray's seven seasons in Arizona, where he earned Offensive Rookie of the Year and two Pro Bowl nods, make him the clear choice over J.J. McCarthy. He added that McCarthy, while talented, still has "a lot of growing to do" and made questionable decisions last season. Peterson also suggested Murray's messy exit from Arizona could fuel a resurgence: He just needed a fresh start, something new to revive him.
