🇮🇹 ItalyReferee Abisso Reinstated After Appeal Upheld

The court declared "the illegitimacy of the AIA resolution of last July 1" that ordered the referee's dismissal. Abisso, 40, from Palermo, had been removed from the Italian Referees Association (AIA) roster due to limits of permanence in the role. Having obtained a suspension of the measure while awaiting the TFN's ruling, Abisso was able to take part in the pre-season training camp of the CAN referees ahead of the season that has just begun.
The Sicilian match official had filed the appeal that has now been accepted, leading to his full reinstatement in the role of referee. The FIGC confirmed the decision in an official note.
