The Mediators Urged Israel to Comply With All Its Obligations Under International Law and Fully Honor Its Ceasefire Commitments

Turkey, Qatar and Egypt jointly condemned Israeli violations in Gaza that have caused civilian casualties and constitute a clear breach of international law. In a statement, the three mediator countries denounced ongoing violations, particularly those targeting health facilities and medical infrastructure, resulting in deaths of women and children. They noted that continued violations after Hamas and Palestinian groups accepted the roadmap, especially the weapons limitation provision, undermine the agreement and efforts to implement its second phase.

The mediators urged Israel to comply with all its obligations under international law and fully honor its ceasefire commitments. They warned that these violations threaten de-escalation efforts and worsen the suffering of Gaza's civilians. They reiterated calls for full protection of civilians, health facilities and humanitarian workers, and for uninterrupted delivery of aid and medical supplies across Gaza.

The mediators also called on the international community to pressure Israel to fulfill its obligations, referencing US President Donald Trump's characterization of a second-phase roadmap agreement as historic. They stressed the need to prevent disruption of efforts toward a sustainable de-escalation and lasting ceasefire in Gaza.
