The Mediators Warned That These Violations Threaten the De-escalation Process and Worsen the Suffering of Civilians in Gaza

Turkey, Egypt and Qatar jointly condemned Israeli violations in Gaza that have caused civilian casualties and constitute a clear breach of international law. In a statement, the three mediator countries denounced the ongoing violations, particularly those targeting health facilities and medical infrastructure, which have led to civilian deaths including women and children. The mediators noted that the violations continue despite Hamas and Palestinian groups accepting the roadmap, especially the clause on limiting weapons, and said this undermines the agreement and efforts to implement its second phase.

They stressed that Israel must comply with all its obligations under international law and fully honor its commitments under the ceasefire deal. The mediators warned that these violations threaten the de-escalation process and worsen the suffering of civilians in Gaza. They reiterated calls to ensure full protection of civilians, health facilities and humanitarian workers, and to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of aid and medical supplies across the strip.

The mediators urged the international community to take responsibility and apply necessary pressure on Israel to fulfill its obligations, in line with completing U.S. President Donald Trump's peace plan, noting Trump described reaching a consensus on the second-phase roadmap as a historic agreement. They said efforts toward a sustainable de-escalation process ensuring a permanent ceasefire and an end to humanitarian suffering must not be obstructed.
