Team Bharat, led by political analyst Tehseen Poonawalla, said Monday it has been invited by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas for a follow-up meeting within 3-4 days to continue discussions on consumer choice, fuel pricing, and the Ethanol 20 (E20) fuel policy. The group is protesting what it calls a rushed implementation of the ethanol blended petrol (EBP) programme, which blends 20% ethanol with 80% petrol. The invitation follows recent detailed discussions with ministry officials, reflecting a commitment to constructive engagement.
