Abdulhamit Tokyaz, 33, a gym owner, started his passion at age 13 and now keeps prized breeds like Arabian Rose and Rubella Rose in a climate-controlled aviary with water purification, costing around 700,000 liras. Tokyaz said some birds have been traded for a motorcycle valued at 140,000 liras, and he has received offers for car swaps. He feeds them top-quality grains and vitamins, including probiotics and electrolytes, and designed the seven-section wooden coop himself over three months.
