He Also Cited Allegations That India Will Purchase $20 Billion Worth of Ethanol From the US Over Five Years

Arvind Kejriwal will march to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence on Tuesday at noon with 100 supporters to submit over 2 lakh petitions against E20 fuel. The AAP convenor said he decided to hand over the petitions personally after receiving no response to a letter seeking an appointment last month. Kejriwal claimed the government is pushing ethanol blending under pressure from US President Donald Trump, alleging Modi "bowed before Trump" and is damaging people's vehicles.

He also cited allegations that India will purchase $20 billion worth of ethanol from the US over five years. The online petition, launched days ago, gathered approximately 2,33,238 signatures. Kejriwal's letter had sought options for both pure petrol and E20 at stations and a reduction in ethanol-blended petrol prices. He called last week's AAP "Ethanol Townhall" a huge success.
