Eurobank S.A. spent €2.46 million buying back 556,717 of its own shares on the Euronext Athens exchange between July 27 and July 31, 2026, the Greek lender said on August 3. The purchases, executed through subsidiary Eurobank Equities Single Member Investment Firm S.A., were made at an average price of €4.4207 per share, for a total cost of €2,461,056.60. The buyback programme follows shareholder approval at the annual general meeting on April 28, 2026, under Article 49 of Law 4548/2018, with the board ratifying the resolution the next day. Trading began on July 27 with 26,949 shares bought at an average €4.4752, ranging from €4.43 to €4.50, for €120,601.72. On July 28, volume rose to 63,276 shares at an average €4.4147, spanning €4.3840 to €4.44, costing €279,343.46. July 29 saw 118,367 shares repurchased for €521,680.83 at an average €4.4073, with prices between €4.3950 and €4.42. Purchases climbed further on July 30, with 159,987 shares secured for €706,367.17 at an average €4.4152, hitting a low of €4.32 and a high of €4.43. The busiest session came on July 31, when 188,138 shares were bought for €833,063.42 at an average €4.4279, reaching a weekly high of €4.5010 and a low of €4.3950. Following these transactions, Eurobank holds a cumulative 18,842,347 own shares in its treasury.
