Club Officials Are Expected to Travel to Germany This Week to Finalize the Remaining Details Before Bringing Guirassy to Istanbul
Fenerbahce have accelerated their striker search after advancing to the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, with Borussia Dortmund forward Serhou Guirassy emerging as the top target. Club president Aziz Yildirim had hinted at the move during a board meeting, saying the club planned to complete a new striker signing within the week. Reports indicate Fenerbahce have already agreed personal terms with the 30-year-old, and negotiations with Dortmund have progressed, with the German club lowering their asking price closer to Fenerbahce's target.
Club officials are expected to travel to Germany this week to finalize the remaining details before bringing Guirassy to Istanbul. Yildirim also confirmed the club's spending limits are not an issue, noting they have spent 138 million euros on transfers including Mason Greenwood, Nathan Ake, and Vedat Muriqi, and that the planned signing fits within current financial constraints.
