Fujifilm has unveiled a new silver version of its premium analog instant camera, the instax mini 99, featuring a classic black-and-silver color scheme. The silver model will join the existing black version announced in 2024. The mini 99 retains traditional instax aesthetics while adding advanced features such as the Color Effect Dial, a first for its kind, which lets users choose from six effects—Faded Green, Warm Tone, Light Blue, Soft Magenta, Sepia, and Light Leak—to customize images. The camera uses built-in LED lights to expose the selected color onto instax mini film. It also includes a Manual Vignette Dial on the lens mount for adding artistic shaded frames around images, along with brightness and focus modes.
