Economists surveyed by AA Finance had forecast a monthly rise of 1.82% and an annual figure of 31.80%. TÜİK's June data showed 0.99% monthly and 32.11% annual inflation, while ENAG recorded 1.94% and 51.49% respectively. The average year-end inflation expectation among economists stood at 29.55%. Separately, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce data indicated annual inflation in Istanbul reached 35.20% in July.
