While public attention shifted to Venezuela and Iran, Washington kept pressure on Greenland through financial channels. In early May, U.S. firm Critical Metals took ownership of the Tanbreez deposit in southern Greenland, and American company Greenland Mines, formerly Klotho Neurosciences, acquired the Sarfartoq project in the southwest.
