Abhijeet Dipke, Founder of the Cockroach Janta Party, Has Addressed Questions About How He Funded His US

In an interview with Barkha Dutt on MOJO, Dipke said, "I received scholarship from Boston University and took an education loan to fund the rest of my expenses. I have to pay the loan. He shared a document showing Boston University awarded him a Dean's Scholarship of $12,500 per semester for three semesters, totaling $37,500. Dipke, who returned to India on June 6 to lead protests, completed a Master of Science in Public Relations at Boston University.

The clarification came after a Gujarat-based RTI activist sought details about his education funding. Dipke also discussed CJP's future funding, stating, "We will raise funds through crowd-funding, and emphasized transparency. He claimed that even lower-ranking Delhi police officers were sympathetic to the protests, saying, "I won't lie to you, three people covering their faces with masks came to us and told us that they were thankful for the protests.

Tiwari questioned how he could afford his children's US education and also wrote to the Election Commission and Central GST regarding a ₹1 crore legal defence fund announced by Kapil Sibal. Tiwari noted that CJP is unregistered and asked the EC to verify its status under the Representation of the People Act.

Dipke, 30, became the public face of the protests that led to the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. He previously worked with the Aam Aadmi Party from 2020 to 2023, handling social media and election campaigns."
