In the Jabalia Refugee Camp, Northern Gaza, a Drone Attack Killed One Palestinian and Wounded Several, Some Critically

Israeli strikes on Gaza have killed 14 people, including two children and an unborn baby, despite a declared ceasefire roadmap that was supposed to halt all attacks. Hospital sources and eyewitnesses said an Israeli drone struck a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians in Gaza City, killing two people, one of them a child, and wounding eight others, including children. In Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, an Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle at the intersection near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital and Salah al-Din Street, killing two Palestinian brothers.

A helicopter strike on a home in the Al-Mushaileh area southwest of Deir al-Balah killed a Palestinian couple aged 69 and 59 and wounded several others. In the Jabalia refugee camp, northern Gaza, a drone attack killed one Palestinian and wounded several, some critically. A strike on a residential area in Gaza City wiped out an entire family of four: a pregnant mother, her baby, the father, and a child.

The attack on the Susi apartment building near the port killed Abdullah Abu al-Tayf, 33, his six-months-pregnant wife Abir Ana, 26, and their five-year-old son Azzam. Another strike near the Palestinian Mosque in the Nasr neighborhood wounded one person. In Karara, north of Khan Younis, a home was hit, killing three members of the same family—a mother, father, and daughter—and wounding three others.

A drone strike on a phone-charging point in the Al-Ard al-Tayyiba refugee camp in Mawasi wounded five Palestinians, including children. Since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, Israeli attacks have killed 1,230 people and wounded 4,076, with 804 bodies recovered from under the rubble. Since October 2023, the total death toll in Gaza has reached 73,356, with 174,185 wounded.

Nickolay Mladenov, the High Representative of the Gaza Peace Council, said Hamas had accepted a detailed roadmap. US President Donald Trump announced on social media that the Peace Council had reached an agreement for Hamas and other armed groups to lay down their weapons. Hamas, along with Palestinian factions, said it viewed positively the mediators' proposals for completing the second phase of the ceasefire agreement, stressing that Israel must halt attacks and set a timeline for agreed items, and that implementing the second phase depends on Israel fully meeting its first-phase obligations.

The National Committee for Gaza Governance said it had completed institutional and operational preparations to take over the administration of the Strip. The first phase of the ceasefire, which began on October 10, 2025, included a prisoner exchange and increased humanitarian aid, but Israeli attacks and restrictions on aid entry have continued.
