The Collision Occurred in the Çağdaşkent Neighborhood of Toroslar District

Security camera footage captured the horrifying moments of a hit-and-run in Mersin, where a driver ran over two injured victims and fled after crashing into a motorcycle. The collision occurred in the Çağdaşkent neighborhood of Toroslar district. The car, whose license plate and driver have not yet been identified, veered out of its lane and hit an oncoming motorcycle.

Four people were on the motorcycle; three were thrown onto the road, and a child fell onto the car's hood. The driver got out, lifted the child off the hood, then got back in the car and drove over two injured people lying on the road before escaping. A man who tried to stop the driver narrowly escaped being run over.

Emergency crews and police were dispatched, and the injured were taken to hospitals after receiving first aid. Police are searching for the driver, and the Mersin Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation.
