Moscow Cafe Blast Kills Three, Injures 15 An explosion near a cafe in Moscow killed at least three people and injured 15 on Saturday evening, authorities said, without immediately saying what caused the blast. The blast occurred near a restaurant in Kudrinskaya Square at about 8:10pm (17:10 GMT), the Interior Ministry said on the social media platform Max. Moscow police told state news agency Ria Novosti that the explosion caused “three deaths and 15 injured, of varying degrees of seriousness”.

The wounded were receiving medical care, while police, firefighters and emergency services were deployed to the scene. The cause was under investigation. Traffic near the square was temporarily blocked and entrances to the Barrikadnaya metro station were closed, Russian media reported.
