Truth Social API Could Cost Up to $100,000 a Month

Democratic Senators Elizabeth Warren and Adam Schiff have asked the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to investigate whether Truth API breaks the law, including potential insider trading. The SEC confirmed receipt of the letter but declined to comment on a possible investigation. TMTG responded that the senators "mischaracterise Truth API" and have "invented a new theory of 'insider trading' based on publicly available information. Joe Saluzzi, co-founder of Themis Trading, called the service "worthless for firms without nanosecond-level trading systems, suggesting high-frequency traders would sign up out of fear that competitors might.
