Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian Denied Reports That He Had Resigned, Saying He Will Continue in His Post

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian denied reports that he had resigned, saying he will continue in his post. In remarks aired by the state news agency IRNA, Pezeshkian said, If I were to resign, I would announce it openly. I will not resign; I will fight.
He also dismissed claims of a rift with Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the armed forces, insisting they work in full harmony. Pezeshkian noted that in any dispute, the military would side with Khamenei, not him. He accused certain circles of trying to create the impression of discord between the leader and the president.
The video of his address is expected to be released in four parts. Opposition media had previously claimed Pezeshkian had offered his resignation to Khamenei several times. İstifa etsem, bunu alenen açıklarım. İstifa etmeyeceğim, mücadele edeceğim.
