Ministers Affirm Dialogue Serves Regional and Global Peace
Foreign ministers of China, Russia and India, meeting in the 15th trilateral format, issued a joint statement on Monday pledging to uphold an open, inclusive regional security and economic architecture in the Asia-Pacific, based on multilateralism and international law.
The statement, following talks among Wang Yi, Sergei Lavrov and Sushma Swaraj, stressed coordination in forums like the East Asia Summit and reiterated commitment to BRICS cooperation, aiming for a second golden decade, and highlighted the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's role. The ministers affirmed their dialogue is not directed against any other country and serves regional and global peace and prosperity.
