In Zaporizhzhia, Russian Glide Bombs Killed One Person and Wounded Dozens, According to Regional Chief Ivan Fedorov
Russia's defence ministry said more than 300 drones struck its cities and warehouses overnight, with at least 12 people killed in separate attacks in Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine's air force reported 181 long-range strike drones launched by Russia, of which 163 were jammed or intercepted, while 14 caused damage at 13 locations. In Zaporizhzhia, Russian glide bombs killed one person and wounded dozens, according to regional chief Ivan Fedorov.
In Arkhipo-Osipovka on Russia's Black Sea coast, seven were killed and 40 wounded by Ukrainian drone debris, said Governor Veniamin Kondratyev. Three more died in Crimea, per Russian-installed head Sergei Aksyonov. Ukraine's former commander-in-chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi said Ukraine will never join Nato, citing unmet military standards and "impossible" alignment with an organisation guided by World War 2 doctrines.
A Wildberries warehouse in Russia's Tver region was damaged in a drone attack, with no injuries, said acting governor Vitaly Korolyov. Russia claimed to have downed 320 Ukrainian drones over 19 regions, with six killed and nine injured near Moscow and St Petersburg. Iran cancelled planned strikes on three Ukrainian sites after Kyiv's apology, said Mohsen Rezaei, following an attack on an Iranian vessel. The Russian Embassy in Rome blamed Ukraine for a Moscow restaurant bombing that killed five and injured 19, calling it an attempt to intimidate Italians in Russia.
