Family Members Joined the Fight, Which Was Halted by Bystanders

A dispute over property division between two brothers in Şanlıurfa's Yazılıkavak neighborhood escalated into a brawl involving stones and sticks on the evening of August 5, 2026, leaving nine people injured. Family members joined the fight, which was halted by bystanders. Gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

The injured were taken to city-center hospitals after initial treatment, with their conditions reported as good. Five suspects were detained by gendarmerie.
