Hilton Was Alone in His Residence at the Time

Perez Hilton is receiving medical care after he appeared to physically harm himself on a TikTok livestream, his family and team confirmed in a statement. "We can confirm that Perez is receiving medical care, and our family's focus right now is on his well-being, a post on the official Perez Hilton website reads. "We kindly ask that you respect Perez's privacy, as well as the privacy of his family, during this difficult time.

The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office initially stated that Hilton was "safely recovered" and transported to a local hospital following the incident. On the evening of Aug. 4, the Sheriff's Office responded to multiple calls regarding an individual who was livestreaming acts of self-harm on social media.

Hilton was alone in his residence at the time. Additional details have not been made available by police or Hilton's family, who shared, If and when we are able to share any updates, we will do so with everyone as soon as we can.
