TBMM's School Attacks Investigation Commission held its final meeting, chaired by AK Party Tokat deputy Yusuf Beyazıt, who announced the panel is moving to the report stage. The commission was established to investigate school incidents in Şanlıurfa and Kahramanmaraş, along with risks children face in digital environments, and to develop solutions and preventive measures.

Beyazıt stressed that children must be protected both in classrooms and on screens, saying, "We must make the digital world as safe as the schoolyard. He added that identifying the causes pushing children toward crime is key to lasting solutions. During the session, presentations were made by the Ombudsman Institution, the Human Rights and Equality Institution of Turkey (TİHEK), and the Personal Data Protection Authority.

Ombudsman Fatma Benli Yalçın said current legislation is insufficient, urging a law that unequivocally bans violence against women and children. If we don't do this, similar incidents to those in America will occur in Turkey, she warned, also calling for bans on broadcasting violent images and portraying children as gang members in films and series. TİHEK Deputy Chair Muhammet Ecevit Carti proposed a child-friendly, child-rights-centered complaint mechanism for digital risks. Personal Data Protection Authority Deputy Chair Cihan Kanlıgöz noted that children's digital safety requires managing the entire data lifecycle with children's interests in mind.
