The Next Film Is Set to Be Directed by Denis Villeneuve With a Script From Steven Knight.
James Bond producer Amy Pascal says the next 007 could be announced by the end of the year, describing the search as "really, really methodical. Pascal told Deadline that Daniel Craig is "a hard act to follow" and that the new Bond "has got to be something really different that is stirring and exciting. MGM, the Amazon-owned studio that took creative control from Barbara Broccoli last year, is handling the process.
Callum Turner leads the bookies' favourites, followed by Harris Dickinson, Louis Partridge, and Jacob Elordi. West End star Tom Francis emerged as a surprise contender with odds of 10/3. Retired casting director Debbie McWilliams told The Independent she is unimpressed with current frontrunners, saying we want to know as little about them personally as possible.
