An Overnight Strike Destroyed the Medicine Warehouse at Al-aqsa Hospital, With the Israeli Military Saying It Hit a Hamas Weapons Depot

Israeli strikes on Gaza intensified after a US-brokered deal announced July 30 for Hamas disarmament, with at least 19 Palestinians killed in a single day and a weekend toll of 26. Hamas negotiator Ghazi Hamad said the group would not implement the agreement unless Israel halts attacks and withdraws troops, while a Netanyahu office spokesperson insisted forces would stay until full disarmament. Strikes hit homes in Gaza City, al-Qarara, and Deir el-Balah, killing families including Abdullah Abu Taif, 33, his pregnant wife Abeer Anan, 29, and son Azzam, 5; Mahmoud al-Hams, 38, wife Fatima, 37, and daughter; and Kamal and Huda Abu Muailiq, 68 and 59. A drone strike on a tent in Remal killed two, including a child, and another near the Sharia Court killed four. An overnight strike destroyed the medicine warehouse at Al-Aqsa Hospital, with the Israeli military saying it hit a Hamas weapons depot.
Health Ministry said July was the deadliest month this year with 152 killed; since the October 2025 ceasefire, 1,250 have died and over 4,100 wounded. Civil Defence recovered 112 bodies, 40 children, from a Sabra home, with 157 missing. In the West Bank, OCHA said July tied March as the deadliest month for settler incidents since October 2023, with over 1,380 incidents in 2026 and 17 people displaced daily.
