CJP Leaders Outline Grassroots Movement Strategy, Rule Out Immediate Electoral Politics

Founder Abhijeet Dipke, spokespersons Saurav Das and Vaishnavi Gaur, and other core members will attend a media interaction to discuss the group's future direction.
In a media interaction Tuesday, CJP leadership said addressing public grievances requires societal awakening, not conventional political alternatives. Das said the group is a movement, not a party, and ruled out immediate electoral politics. While there are numerous political parties, the answer to people's pain is not another political party, but an awakening on grassroot level, Das said.
Dipke said the group will consult Gen Z on issues to form its agenda. The movement aims to create grassroots workers in every district, Das added. Gaur criticized the government's handling of protests, saying authorities should engage in dialogue rather than dictation.
CJP leader Ratna Singh said the movement has impacted voters in villages beyond cities. The group will announce its future strategy on August 6. We were asked questions about where this movement will go after the success of the protest, and we have all come to strategise around the same. We will hold discussions over it and think about how to take it to grassroot level, Dipke said.
