Celal Ç., Was Caught Driving Without a License and With a Blood Alcohol Level of 1.5 Promil After Stalling Police During a Traffic Stop

Officers from the İnegöl Traffic Bureau stopped the light commercial vehicle with plate 16 BLY 779 on Mareşal Fevzi Çakmak Street in Cumhuriyet neighborhood. The driver tried to avoid the breathalyzer by making excuses, including claiming he needed to get money from a friend and asking permission to drink water. The vehicle's registration belonged to his twin brother, Resul Ç., whose license had also been confiscated for drunk driving. Celal Ç. received fines totaling 65,000 TL—40,000 TL for driving without a license and 25,000 TL for drunk driving—and was taken to the police station for a statement.
