Candidates can check if they are on the first call list, released by the Ministry of Education (MEC) last week, directly on the Single Portal for Access to Higher Education, in the Prouni section. The institution must issue a document proving delivery of the documentation upon receipt from the candidate. The institution may also request additional documents, when necessary. Scholarships The federal program offers full scholarships, which cover 100% of the monthly fee, or partial scholarships of 50%, in undergraduate and sequential courses of specific training, in private higher education institutions.
In this second semester, the program offers 471,304 partial and full scholarships in 380 undergraduate courses at 879 private higher education institutions. Of the total scholarships offered, 219,725 were full and 251,579 were partial. Affirmative actions The program reserves places for candidates who meet the criteria of the program's affirmative action policy, including people with disabilities and self-declared indigenous, black or brown candidates.
35,365 scholarships were offered to people with disabilities. For black, brown and indigenous people there were 188,880 and for broad competition, 247,059. New chances Candidates who were not called in the first Prouni call of this second semester will still be able to participate in the second call or express interest in the waiting list. After the two calls, those who are not pre-selected, or whose registration is rejected due to failure to form a class, will be able to compete for scholarships that may not be filled, according to the criteria established in the notice. Students awarded a partial scholarship can also use the Student Financing Fund (Fies) to supplement the monthly payment, as long as the course and educational institution offer this possibility.
