The Album, His First As a New Dad, Was Produced With Gabe Simon at Nashville's Gold Pacific Studios

Koe Wetzel is releasing "Jaded, a new duet with Ella Langley, on Friday via Columbia Records. The song marks their second collaboration, following "That's Why We Fight" from Langley's 2023 debut EP, Excuse the Mess. Wetzel, an east Texas troubadour, has been teasing the track since releasing his sixth studio album, The Night Champion, in June.

The album, his first as a new dad, was produced with Gabe Simon at Nashville's Gold Pacific Studios. Wetzel says the record embodies his wild, outspoken personality, though he's taking better care of himself now. "Jaded" is a funky disco two-step about two lovers questioning how the other became jaded.

The Night Champion features emotional range, from tender songs like "The Man" and "When I Was" to heavier tracks like "Sinner, which includes harmonies from Sam Harris of X Ambassadors. Wetzel's 2024 duet with Jessie Murph, High Road, topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart in 2025.
